Two Cannabis Stores for Sale in BC. Get in Touch with Thrive Advisors
September 23, 2021On September 13th, the Government of British Columbia launched the new vaccine passport – the BC Vaccine Card. The vaccine card will allow people to show proof of vaccination required at higher risk venues. The card may motivate unvaccinated or under-vaccinated individuals to get vaccinated, while at the same time preventing the spread of COVID-19, keeping businesses up and running, and allowing a return to social and recreational events. Until October 24, one dose is required to enter high-risk venues. After that, full vaccination will be required. You can get your BC Vaccine Card here. Restaurant, bar and pub owners and employees are concerned about managing hostile customers and the cost of doing so.
Where Will the Vaccine Card Be Required?
The BC Vaccine Card will be required at many higher-risk social and recreational events including indoor sports and concerts, restaurants, pubs, bars, nightclubs, gyms, exercise and fitness studios, indoor events with 50 or more people, and other higher risk events. See a complete list of venues where the vaccine card is required. The card won’t be required at many businesses such as grocery stores, salons, and unlicensed restaurants that don’t have table service.
